West Chester Grub was launched on Instagram in August of 2020 in the midst of the Covid pandemic. Our intention, still to this day, is to promote your business from our heart. Watching our favorite Borough businesses face hardships while being forced to shut down or resort to take-out only was nothing but heart-wrenching and devastating. We knew there was something we could do and we did it.
In order for West Chester Grub to support the vast food scene in the Borough of West Chester during these difficult times, our skills and creativity flourished. In sharing our daily take-out style “grub”, we encouraged people in the community to continue to support town’s restaurants and eateries. Each of the restaurants, eateries and local businesses faced restricted hours, extremely limited seating and often restaurant seating completely banned.
As the months went by restaurants fortunately we able to open again for indoor dining and West Chester Grub continued to grow. Almost 3 years later and our audience has grown to over 5,000 followers and we have contributed to the sense of community with West Chester Grub’s marketing.
To this day, West Chester Grub is run as a non-profit. Every post and story is shared from the kindness of our heart in order to help the community. Yes, even though you may know that we have “partnered“ with businesses, these partnerships are all carried out entirely free-of-charge.
West Chester Grub has opened so many doors and allowed us to create meaningful relationships with business owners within the West Chester community. With this, we have decided to launch West Chester Grub Social, a Social Media Management Agency servicing all industries in the Chester County area.
A little bit about our story…
Hi, I’m Molly! I’m the owner of West Chester Grub and now also West Chester Grub Social. I graduated from West Chester University last spring with a Bachelors Degree in Media and minor in Digital Marketing. During my second year at WCU, I created West Chester Grub. I knew after graduating I wanted to work in the digital marketing field. Starting my own business doing what I absolutely love is my proudest accomplishment. I couldn’t be more fortunate for the opportunities West Chester Grub has brought me and the amazing people I have met along the way.
